Experimenting With The New Camera And Some Explaining To Do

'Ello,
All photographs taken by me today, and not hijacked from somebody's Tumblr or anything. Ooh, better get all the formal stuff out of the way .. 'if you are going to use these photos .. be so kind and excellent as to credit them back to braceletlady. blogspot..' or I will get growly and cry. Cheers :)
ANYWAYYY .. got a new camera from Argos yest' £50.99 or something, but then I paid £15.00 for three years insurance because the last cheeky critter that broke my beloved camera was orange juice. So insurance might be lovely, because I've had this thing for about 48hrs and I have dropped it twice, because I am the clumsiest and most ridiculous person ever, as will be revealed in the upcoming paragraphs.
The other reason I was snapping pictures of things about the bedroom was that because I'm doing the whole 'moving to Newcastle University' thing, from little old Wakefield, I'm moving to a smaller room, so the brother can have this one. It's a glorifed box room, but a newly carpeted and wallpapered box room , so I don't mind much at all. All this stuff won't fit into the glorified box room, so I figured I'd take pictures of it and show you guys.
The first two snaps: one is the new header, but blogspot is grumpy and won't show the entire picture for the header, just the corner of it. The first two also explain the whole 'bracelet lady' 'bracelet lady again' thing (for blogspot and tumblr respectively). My gran makes bracelets and necklaces and I get a large lovely amount, and end up wearing about six million a day. Silly-ly, I also do the same for exams, and don't realise they're noisy until I clang my arm on the table. Then I have to take all six million off and put them on the table, then fall asleep while writing and spread all six million on the floor, then the poor exam invigilator lady person come to pick them up and they fall on the floor again and so it goes in a great big loop for two and a half hours and I end up forgetting why this writer uses this technique for this reason. In short, the bracelets are to blame for suck-ish marks on my exam; 'the bracelets made me do it!' 's not my fault. Eh heh heh.
The third snap: because I am the biggest show off ever :( Ahem. You can't see it, but it's a 'Dance to the Darkness' by Yours Truly. It's a poem-y thing, for this book 'Poetry by Moonlight'; a competition, didn't win but got published an' all and it came in the post a few days before my 18th. I might have mentioned it before actually.. but I'l say nothing else on the subject.
The fourth one: Mass collection of linguistic and german revison books. All to be read and consumed before the exam next week. It's all very exhausting..
The fifth: A great handful of the magazine collection. I also took a snap of all the Vogues, but it blogspot wouldn't let me put it on. I should realy stop buying them. Addiciton. Addiction. But I'm getting better..
Pics six and seven: A yellow bookshelf. A yellow one. Don't know how I feel about that, but I'm glad it's not coming into the new room. Wanted to submit it here, but I'm not sure that you can? I'm not sure now that it counts as a bookshelf, what with all the Friends videos and stuff, but ohwell. Did try to colour co-ordinate some, with the pink ones, but everything has sorta moved itself about. Cheeky.
The other snap is a close-up of the fashion illustration books. I always mean to use them to start a my own collection, but I'll never get round to it.
Number eight and number nine: A sea of sketch books;'ll show you the inside of them sometime soon, but not now, as it'll feel like a picture overload or something:) And a Spiderman walkie talkie thrown in for good measure.
The one after is a series of untouched art materials. It looks fabulously pretentious, and like I should be painting nonstop and be super creative, but the truth is: I'm a sucker for stationary and I spend all most of whatever cash I get on that, rather than clothes and stuff. Anyone else like that? Hum.
The final one, you can all breath a sigh of relief now and laugh at the naff bit of wall behind: C'est moi, looking like a bit of a twat, chilin' with the clarinet and a specially places pretty pillow, like you do. I'm sure normal people play the thing and not get snapped next to it, like it's my only friend, but hey ho, I do love it. Grade 2-ish-ish if people are wondering, haven't been taught since year 10 (year 13 now) so I'm teaching myself to play Adele's Chasing Pavements. Good stuff :)
I think that'll do for now, I should realy go wash the hair and do lots of work, but, you know, I'll not get 'round to any of it asusual.
