Maybe It's Because I'm A Londoner...

(I'm realy not, just an anglo-filipina from West Yorkshire, oh aye)

Went on a Textiles Extension day trip to London on 15th July. (So it seemed appropriate to write it up 2 months later, obvv). Was bored on the train so decided to record the quietly humerous things that happened at the exact time (get me). Will do this more in the future, in attempt to find a happy balance in a world that seems wonky. I invite you, loyal reader, to do the same. You'll need a pen, watch and a list-making notebook. (Yes, I have a list-making notebook. Don't judge me.) Ahaha :)

9:40 Sat on the train. Blonde woman. English Accent. Just used the phrase 'absoloutley ghastly' (In reference to ready made (?) Gin & Tonic in a can.)
9:58 Old man reading 'Racing Post' looking grumpy. Wearing nice suit. And sandals. With socks. -(Sat in the train station)
10:03 Played I-spy with Cath, finding things beginning with T. Got to 'transatlantic pigeon' and 'trisket' before..'tree'.
10:04 Went through tunnel in the train for about the fifth time. Group of 17 year olds plugging our ears. 6 year olds in front playing happily. And staring at us.
10:16 Spotted Christmas wreath on someones front door. Ahem, it's July...
19:20 Textiles Group running like crazy through train to get seats. (We were told it was going to be busy. It wasn't; in the end.)

Well, those things made *me* LOL.
